it took me two months to make the series 2 amp (during free time only)and i was happy to make one because it was my first amp project. i spent approximately 5k php and 80% of that cost went to the 11 kilos transformer (I made it with a buddy), large capacitors (Used) and aluminum casing (custom made). i am no engineer so i just used my ears to check it. yeah, over all, it sounds costly...and i do not know how to make changes... but... maybe an exprert can make some adjustment so that i may hear a more detailed high freq and for the bass i still have no comment because i have no sub driver. i plan to replace the capacitors with a brand new phillips caps beacuse it might change the sound spatial resolution ... i used a 301 bose speaker,nad pre amp and nad cd player to test it.

I think the chapter on power supplies in my book gives an insight on the use of power supplies for our amplifier projects. Beyond that, it goes to building transformers which is not part of the general info on my book.
For our amplifiers, just consider the voltage rating needed to produce the desired output power, the VA rating needed for either one or two channels, and a bridge diode capable of the desired current and voltage.

Yeah thanks for the info on power supply took me a super while though. do we have any pdf format to download the circuit, the foil pattern, the parts list and adjustment procedures as i lost my LE Book on the series 2 amp thanks

The book is only available at their electronics shop in Baguio City. However, for orders outside Baguio City, it can be facilitated. Postage and handling will be add-on on top of the cost of the book itself.
